Red Team / Blue Team / Purple Team Exercises

Red Teaming is a full-scope, multi-layered attack simulation designed to test an organization's overall detection and response capabilities, not just its technical defenses. It mimics the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of a real adversary over a longer period.

Purple Teaming is a collaborative exercise where the red team (attackers) and the blue team (defenders) work together to validate and improve security controls and detection capabilities in real-time.

Blue Team; the internal defensive security force of an organization, focused on protecting systems, networks, and data from cyberattacks by using tools like SIEMs, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management software to monitor threats, detect incidents, and respond to breaches. They work to strengthen an organization's security posture and often participate in exercises with Red Team. which simulates attacks to uncover vulnerabilities, providing feedback to improve the Blue Team's defenses.
